Suiying Liao is a fully qualified Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Practitioner, trained at RMIT in Melbourne, Australia.
Suiying developed an interested in Chinese medicine when she experienced severe symptoms of hayfever after arriving in Australia. Finding no relief from conventional medicine, she did her own research and discovered that 1 in 3 Australians suffer from hayfever, and that Chinese medicine can provide effective treatment.
Following this personal experience, Suiying developed a great interest in the medical philosophy of her own Chinese culture, and pursued studies at RMIT to become a fully qualified Chinese Medicine Practitioner.
Suiying’s training in Chinese medicine is complemented by her qualification as a registered nurse. She has worked in hospital and GP settings, and brings this experience to her patients at Acuwell.
Suiying works alongside her patients at Acuwell with genuine care and concern, aiming to help others experience better health through in-depth diagnosis and holistic treatment.
When not at work, Suiying enjoys spending time with her young son, and loves cooking.
